Red alert! Valentine’s is just around the corner guys, and what better way to prepare than to attend a ‘Very’ Lingerie event! #VeryValentines
It’s not often I get to attend events with anyone else, but when I do, I know it’s going to be a good one!
My sis Lizzy and I headed to London to attend Very’s #VeryValentines event, and we were immediately greeted by friendly faces and a pink hallway filled with neon-floaty-instagrammable delights! Balloons basically.
Now, I’m not one for quiet hellos, so when I saw Jess, The Fat Funny One, I was pretty loud. It’s not every day that you get to meet someone that you love from those little squares (Instagram). Another fav was Lindsey, The London Mumma, yet another fabulous person I follow. This guest list was obviously pretty lit.
We were surrounded by an amazing crowd with lots of awesome PRs working with the Brands showcasing their delightful pieces. Dorina, Boux Avenue, ChloBo, Ann Summers, Freya, Gossard, Pour Moi, and Curvy Kate had some great products; most of which were right up my street and available from Very.
Dorina showcased nude lingerie in three different shades, all at affordable prices. I cannot wait until these are available; the caramel coloured Bralette was beautiful! (I’m not a big fan of underwired structured bras btw).
I had a giggle with the ladies from Ann Summers – and minds out of the gutter folks; it was all clean fun and sexy underwear. The larger-cupped bras and accessories were just lovely, and the outfit in their latest campaign is simply alluring (can be seen on the models in the gallery below), but I did have to make a request…where were the boots?! Ann Summers ladies, please tell sister Jacqueline that we need to see some sexy thigh-highs and stripper shoes in your stores, please!
I can’t stop going on about how brilliant these brands were. But #SorryNotSorry because the evening was so much fun and the brands really were amazing. There were so many pretty pieces for you to splash out on for Valentines Day, or simply revamp your lingerie collection.
And Very, if you’re reading this, guuuuurl, the outfit that Hayley Hasselhoff had on was on point. I had to stop her and tell her that her jumpsuit was fabulous, however, she was quick to correct that it was, in fact, a two piece. Erm, fancy!
Babes, not only did I have a great night with Lizzy, met some Insta-favourites, got a goodie bag filled with some pretty awesome things (that sexy Freya baby doll camisole I’m wearing in my pic up top), and I met frickin’ Night-Rider’s daughter!
All-in-all, it was a stupendous event. Thank you, Very, I’m definitely looking forward to having my own #VeryValentines x o x o
*Several items were gifted, however, all thoughts and opinions are my own*
Ohhhmyyyygaaaahd. Very, hold an event in Birmingham will you?!
This looked awesome! It looked fun! It looked SEXY ?
I’ve never worn non structured bras before. I’ve alwaya loved the look of bralets but then I’m like ‘surely they won’t support me’ –
Sareta, educate a mama! Lol
Fabulous *hums knight rider theme tune*

Well, I didn’t say I did a whole lot in non-underwired bras lol! They’re just comfier, especially when having a lazy day or not going out. More loungewear or a trip to the cinema with the kids I think. Defo not for times when you may need to run for the bus 😀
Love this post and need to get me some of those lacy pieces. Ooo laaa laaa. Who needs 50 shades of grey when there’s three shades of nude!? Need to make it out to London to one of these fab events!
Haha, I like your way of thinking! Yes, it’s about time more ‘nude’ colours were available, especially at an affordable price. Like the lovely lady at the Dorina stand rightly pointed out, why should you pay more just for a specific colour?!?
