The Generation Game – No7 Award Winning Serum

The Generation Game – No7 Award Winning Serum

Moisturising has always been a must within my family, we’ve all been taught the benefits of using creams to keep our skin hydrated and gleaming. However, actual products that generations before me have used have become quite taboo in recent times.

‘Lightening creams’ have been used to keep skin clear, brighter and youthful. Admittedly I have dabbled with these incredibly dated creams, but I’ve avoided using them on my face and neck and only used them to even out skin tone on scars and marks left from breakouts.

My grandmother lives in the Caribbean half of the year and tries to stay out of direct sun as she’s aware of the dangers that come with it. My mum lives in London and commutes daily to get to work, she knows that pollution and air-con is just a bad combination when it comes to good skin. My skin? Well, I’m a lover of cosmetics and the sun. I like the summer months when I’m sun-kissed and bronzed. I love makeup, I love that boost of confidence that it gives me when I’m ready for a night out and my lippy compliments my outfit. In the past, I’ve been known not to take the proper precautions that go in hand with those things. Cleanse, tone and moisturise? What’s that? I’ve previously turned my nose up to SPF creams and anti-ageing products as I simply thought I didn’t need it. Well, I was wrong. I’m seeing dark spots; I’m seeing the results of not looking after my skin.

We as a family haven’t had that number one product or brand that would fulfil of our individual needs, that is until now it seems. Following the success of my new skin care routine using No.7’s Lift & Luminate collection, I’ve been asked to try out their serums. As all No7 serums are specifically designed to intensively target specific age concerns, giving women tailored skincare solutions I feel it would be a great product that all three generations can use. Whatever we are doing and wherever we are in the world, we face the same skincare issues. We all want to protect and maintain healthy looking skin. A little help with anti-aging is a bonus.

What else you say?

• No7 serums are an important part of any anti-ageing skincare regime and can deliver younger-looking skin in just two weeks.
• No7 seeks to inspire and enable women to feel READY to make a positive impact on their world, whether it is running a meeting or running a marathon.
• No7 allows women of all generations to show up in the right way for them due to the fact No7 has a suitable, effective serum for every woman, whatever her age.

The No7 range itself is fabulous, great for all skin types and ages. Although not specifically aimed at men, my other half even shares my products and swears by their serum. Worn alone, with a moisturiser or under makeup- the serums are so lightweight and non-sticky they work their magic without you feeling caked. You don’t have that heavy feeling associated with some products. Your skin is able to breathe and feels clean but protected. A win-win situation if you ask me.

Hey Sareta, great post! I want to try No7 serums, BUT, they ain’t cheap, and I’m not sure which one to use. I’m 35, so not exactly OLD, but getting a few wrinkles. Do these serums all have different results?? It’s hard to know which one to go for. Any advice?!! Sammy X

No7 serums are really good, you basically get what you pay for- and your skin is definitely worth the investment! My personal fav is the Lift & Luminate Triple Action serum- but you could pop into Boots and speak to a No7 rep who can advise you.
