Now I know I haven’t shared a Smoothie post in a hot minute, let alone a Strawberry Smoothie!!! (I love strawberries), but it’s been crazy busy with moving and nursery and everything else that has come with life. Anyways, YAY! I’ve finally unpacked my Nutribullet!

Smoothie – Iron “You know, the thang you be smoothin out your clothes with” – Urban Dictionary  ?  What?! Lets try that again…

Smoothie – A kick ass blended drink filled with yumminess and unicorn tears of joy. Usually blended with a Nutribullet, Ninja or an ordinary blender.

Strawberry Vibes Smoothie Ingredients

  • 6 Strawberries
  • Banana
  • Tomato
  • 300ml Coconut milk

Instructions

Blitz everything together and enjoy!

Ingredients benefits:

Strawberry- High in vitamin C and a super Antioxidant! This super lil gem of a fruit contains folate, potassium, manganese, fibre, and magnesium.

Banana- Bananas have a unique mix of vitamins, minerals, and low glycemic carbohydrates which has made them a favourite amongst gym goers and athletes. Bananas aid digestion and maintains normal blood pressure and heart function.

Tomato- Improves eye sight, promotes good stomach health, reduces blood pressure, aids digestion, stimulates blood circulation, reduces cholesterol, protects the kidneys, anti-aging properties, reduces inflammation, fights cancer and cardiovascular diseases.

Coconut Milk- Coconuts are rich in fibre, vitamins C, E, B1, B3, B5 and B6 and minerals including iron, selenium, sodium, calcium, magnesium and phosphorous. Coconut milk is a great substitute those with lactose intolerance.

    Tomato?! Really?! I’m intrigued now!! And I also want a nutribullet so bad lol! This looks so good – how’s about I get one via mail order? I’ll pay you in doughnuts…but that may defeat the whole point, good trade though!

      Haha, sounds like a plan! I’m not a big fan of tomato tbh. I basically put them in things because I know they’re good for me ? In a fruit based smoothie there’s only a hint of it so you can’t really taste it. My OH on the other hand LOVES them, especially in ‘Bloody Mary’s’ (YUK) so I’d add more tomatoes in this smoothie so the flavour is stronger x
