About Me

Sareta Fontaine is a writer, award-winning creative and founder of #WWR Digital Magazine.

Sareta Fontaine launched her career in 2005 as a professional freelance make-up artist, making global waves in the fashion and music industries. She quickly established her personal brand, ‘Sareta Gabriel, Make-Up Is My Art!’ by showcasing her work and portfolio online and becoming a content creator and digital marketing leader.

With her expertise in the beauty industry, Sareta has worked with renowned names in the fashion and music industries. From Richard Shoyemi, International Fashion Stylist, to RANKIN, a British Photographer; Azealia BanksMs Dynamite and Shystie to Booty Luv – the British dance group duo of Cherise Roberts & Nadia Shepherd – Sareta’s portfolio includes published editorials and covers in esteemed publications such as RWD and Oyster Magazine.

Sareta Fontaine found love in the form of Danny Fontaine, a talented musician and creative, and changed her name to reflect their union.

Sareta Fontaine

Sareta developed her own online video series, Sareta TV, collaborating with Akua Gyamfi, the founder of The British Blacklist. Through this project, they provided viewers with an in-depth look into the world of professional make-up artistry and other related media professions. On-screen, Sareta demonstrated her expertise in make-up artistry by shooting tutorials with fashion models. Behind the scenes, she also captured Akua’s interviews with music artists.

The mini-series reached a high point when it featured Sabrina Washington, the iconic British singer who first gained recognition as the lead vocalist of Mis-Teeq, a garage/R&B girl group. Sareta TV had exclusive access to shoot behind-the-scenes footage of Sabrina’s music video, OMG (Gosh), and conducted interviews with the artist and creative team.

Fueled by her passion for fashion, photography and writing, Sareta launched her career in creative media. With a portfolio of stunning imagery and an award-winning blog, she quickly gained recognition for her artistry and entrepreneurial spirit.

Having honed her skills in make-up artistry, styling, photography, video production and content creation, Sareta established Dirt & Glitter as a successful business venture. Her products were featured in ICON Magazine, and she went on to create Kiki Blah-Blah – a lifestyle blog that won three prestigious awards: ‘The Next Big Thing’ 2017 – UK Thirty Plus Awards; Business Social Influencer 2018; and Business Lifestyle 2018 – UK Blog Awards.

In 2017

Sareta Fontaine achieved her first writing credit with the comedy short “Insta Mum”, which was inspired by her own experiences as a “mummy blogger”. Her work was primarily visual, yet she had an undeniable passion for writing which was quickly recognised by Davinia Andrew-Lynch, who subsequently became her literary agent.

Sareta’s innovative approach to visual art and storytelling saw her quickly gain recognition, resulting in an online audience of over 14K followers across social media platforms. She collaborated with some of the biggest names in the industry, including Google, Most Wanted Wines, Care Bears, Disney and more. In 2019 she was shortlisted for the ‘Best Story Pin’ award by Pinterest UK.

Her business acumen and creative prowess have been instrumental in forming her brand, and she is now firmly focused on her career.

Sareta’s online shop is a one-stop destination for unique and exclusive greetings cards and postcards featuring her stunning photography and cutting-edge graphic design. With plans to expand her store by adding more amazing brands and products, Sareta is sure to make it a go-to destination for all your gifting needs.

Fast-forward to 2021, Sareta added ‘podcaster’ to her extensive list of creative skills. She produced the acclaimed shows ‘Come Wine With Me’ and ‘Women Who Rebrand‘, which later developed into a digital magazine, #WWR. This career journey allowed Sareta to explore her creativity, acquire new abilities, work on international projects, and collaborate with notable names and Brands in media. Drawing upon all that she had learned over the years, Sareta founded a platform for female and non-binary writers to share their unique perspectives and expertise through her digital magazine.

At #WWR, they create content that inspires and motivates women & non-binary people to express themselves through their unique perspectives and experiences. The UK-based lifestyle platform provides a safe space for their community to share stories, advice and expertise on topics such as careers, relationships and health & well-being. They strive to empower their readers by amplifying the voices of those who are often unheard or underrepresented in mainstream media. By doing so, they hope to foster meaningful conversations that will lead to positive change in the lives of women & non-binary people everywhere.

The digital magazine is a beacon of guidance, motivation and empowerment for its readers, helping them explore key topics, recognise life’s challenges and encourage growth. It is home to the ‘Women Who Rebrand’ podcast – a series of inspiring conversations with hosts and guests discussing topical categories from the magazine. The series is available on all great podcast platforms and, in 2022, was featured as a recommended podcast on Podbible.com.

Sareta aims to enrich its community’s journey of self-discovery through this fantastic digital magazine.
