Sareta & Cee Catch Up

Sareta and Chioma welcome dating expert and educator lalalaletmeexplain, but swap previous dating stories before doing so. It seems like, Sareta, divorcee and now married, and Chioma, happily married for over a decade, could have used Lala’s book while dating.

Although things worked on in the end, they could have avoided so much. At least they can laugh about their experiences now!

More From Our Guest

An essential tip for dating in 2022 is, Do the work first.
“Unless you want to cost yourself thousands of extra pounds in therapy, I would highly recommend doing the work before jumping fanny-first into the dating pool. Dating before we have figured out our own attachment styles, taken stock of our own red flags, and just generally healed from past trauma, can often lead to messy and complicated relationships.

When we date from a place of low self-worth or desperation for love we can end up repeating patterns and choosing the wrong people over and over again. Seek therapy if you can, write out a list of some of your previous dates and relationships and what went wrong – see if there are any patterns, and really really work on self-love and on loving being single.” – LalalaLetMeExplain

Misjustice: How British Law is Failing Women by Helena Kennedy
“One of our most eminent lawyers and defenders of human rights shows how the British justice system is discriminating against and failing, women
Helena Kennedy forensically examines the pressing new evidence that women are being discriminated against when it comes to the law. From the shocking lack of female judges to the scandal of female prisons and the double discrimination experienced by BAME women, Kennedy shows with force and fury that change for women must start at the heart of what makes society just.”
