I was lucky enough to meet Kathryn, the founder of Nana’s Manners, at a blogging event a few months ago. She seemed so bubbly and friendly, that after chatting away over wine I was taken aback when she told me about her products, so much so that I wanted to try them out when ready. Well, the products have officially launched, they’re ready and we’ve got em’! Here’s what we thought…
Nana’s Manners is a family business, born through a belief of helping children to learn the brilliant basics through product innovation. We all want to help our children in becoming the best they can be.
All of Nana’s Manners products will support children in becoming confident and independent in the world around them. Our launch product is ergonomically designed children’s cutlery, no longer made from children’s modelling clay!
Nana’s Manners have two main AMAZING products, perfectly designed moulded children’s cutlery and cute conversation cards, both of which, were received for us to take a closer look at.
My first thoughts were great, a product designed for kids that didn’t come in pink and blue… yawnfest. Second, wow, it’s really neat and is perfectly sized for little hands- adorable. You can tell instantly that a lot of thought and research has gone into to these products. Kids cutlery has been revolutionised by Nana’s Manners, I simply can’t gush enough!

Ziggy was so excited to try out his new cutlery, he’s had the typical ‘kiddie cutlery’- Paw Patrol & Peppa Pig characters that disappear after a few washes. No REAL design that will help him hold them properly. Nana’s Manners cutlery come with stickers that you can place within the finger positions to help guide your child. As Ziggy picked them up correctly (with no guidance from me) I didn’t feel the need to sick them on. 10 points for effort kid!
We also had a few goes at the ‘Conversation Cards’- lovely conversation starters that go great with dinner I realised. My kids talk a heck of a lot, but it was nice to get some new conversations out of them, especially when it came to answering about fav’ holiday destinations… our bucket list has grown!
In a nut shell, these products are fab, fab, fab! I’d definitely recommend the kids cutlery set for any child aged 3+, they’re so simple and perfect for little hands. As for the Conversation Cards- a big yes from me, they’re a great way to get conversations started and little minds buzzing.
Take a look at Nana’s Manners insta, they have lots of fun posts and links to others reviews!

Oh wow, these look AMAZING! My son even at 5 still have dexterity issues with things like cutlery and pen holding so these actually may work a treat! (And of course his sister will want a set too…because…mommy deems it so!)

Ah man! I’d say enter my comp, but I’m excluding Kiki bloggers ?
I can’t enter, but I want to mix a Cat and a Dog.. just so I have a reason to sing the ‘Catdog’ theme tune 😀 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=54Afdxd6sUQ
Hmmm I’d combine an elephant and a swan. The combination of grace and strength! Reminds me of a cartoon with an elephant in a tutu… now I’m going to spend my day trying to remember the cartoon!
If I don’t win I’m deffo buying, what a great idea!
Babar? I’m sure his daughter did ballet. The cards are great- the boys were non stop chatting. But chatting in a good way, not about computer games lol
So I asked Kid 1+1 And she said a lion and a snake. I asked for specifics and she said head of a lion and body of a snake. I asked why and she walked off.
LOOOOOL, I nearly spat my drink out. She sounds offended- like, “Why are you asking me to explain?”
Heya!! This is Denise! I would put a peacock and a crocodile together. I love the flamboyance of a peacock and the snappiness of a crocodile.
Ooohhhh that sounds like a good one. If reincarnation is a thing I’d like to come back as one of those ?
