Curious Kiwi Smoothie

Curious Kiwi Smoothie

Kiwi smoothie? We’ve been here before but not like this and not for Halloween!…

Kiwi fruit was my first choice when creating a kiddie friendly smoothie. It’s green and has little black seeds, so in their creepy yet angelic minds it resembles slime. YAY! The combination of the frozen fruits turns it into a healthy milkshake; it’s a yummy treat without all the hidden nasties. Parents who don’t want to load your kids with sugar today, this one is for you… However, if you’re a parent who’s kids will be high on E- numbers by this evening, this will definitely counteract your guilt!

Curious Kiwi Smoothie Ingredients

  • 10 Frozen cherries
  • 10 Frozen Blackberries
  • 1 Kiwi Fruit
  • 200ml Hazelnut milk

Instructions

Blitz everything together and enjoy!

Ingredients benefits:

Kiwi Fruit- Has five times the amount of vitamin C than an orange! Is also rich in vitamin A, K, E and B, potassium, copper, folate, and fibre.

Cherries- Lowers the risk of heart disease, helps lower blood sugar levels and helps you get a good nights sleep! It’s a WONDER FRUIT!

Blackberries- Fresh berries are a fab source of Vitamin C and therefore they are a natural antioxidant. Great for a healthy immune system and clear skin.

Hazelnut Milk- Hazelnut milk is gluten, soy and dairy free. It is a great source of vitamins B1, B2, B6 and vitamin E which keeps your heart ticking and healthy!

Chopped Kiwi Fruit with Googly eyes are optional, but if you are celebrating Halloween, it’s a must! We got lots of laughs from these little guys 🙂

Happy Halloween!

Not stupid at all! I got mine from Asda believe it or not. They have a small craft section- if you don’t have one near you, EBay’s always good for craft items 🙂
